-1 -1 -1 : LACE MAKING CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

honiton_lace_class_2Honiton lace has been made in the Honiton for the past 400 years and the museum is keen to keep the tradition alive in the 21st century.

Under the tuition of Mrs Daphne Lee, Honiton lace making classes are held in Allhallows Museum for young people aged between 8 and 18 years. Classes are held  on Saturday mornings  from  8.30am to 10.30am during school term time. The cost is £8 per term, with all the equipment provided.

We are also keen to hear from people willing to donate unwanted lace making equipment to the children's classes.
