General History visit : Oldstone dolls' house.
The dolls' house is a particularly interesting item for children. It represents life in Victorian England as well as linking in to a dramatic murder story of the old manor which was eventually destroyed by fire. It allows children to make comparisons between the changes in the lives of their own times and those  who would be playing with the dolls' house when it  was made. room_drawing
