When: 28 March 2015
Where: Tiverton Museum
Time: 10:00 - 16:00

Join in the fun at Tiverton Museum as we explore centuries of metal making in Mid Devon’s Blackdown Hills. Discover how fire turns rocks into tools, go on an iron hunt around the museum, meet a real archaeologist and try some digging for yourself. Meet Noni the Blacksmith in a brand new story adventure for children and explore her Iron Age world through exciting play activities. Dress up as a Blackdowns Metal Maker and find out what you need to master the ancient craft of iron working. We’re thrilled to welcome Double Elephant Print Workshop along for the day so you can try your hand at printing an iron working landscape or a fiery furnace. We hope you can join us for what promises to be an unmissable family event to start the Easter break. The Blackdown Metal Makers team look forward to welcoming you.

10:00-4:30. FREE entry to museum all day!
