Create your own beautiful books to take home, using imaginative, decorative covers and simple sewn bindings inspired by Japanese book-binding. Take inspiration from patterns and objects in Torre Abbey's collections and explore papers, textures and design. Most suited for ages 6 and over, but all ages welcome.
Artist Gaby Lovatt trained at Dartington College of Arts. Over the past 15 years she has worked with children, young people and communities using the arts as a vehicle to create positive social change.
Workshop times: 10am - 1.00pm and 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Cost: £2.50 per child (accompanying adults go free, but grown-ups can buy a ticket too if you'd like to make a book too)
