  • Gems of the Collection

    An 1840s evening dress remade from an 18th century gown; the silk dates from c. 1770.

    Discover the Veitch designed gardens with hidden treasures such as the bear's hut, rock garden and ice house.

    Walk through this intimate and friendly eighteenth century house, discover artefacts such as the old organ and piano.

  • Library

    Walk through the library designed in 1778 and find the secret cupboard disguised by an amusing set of false book-spines.
