Newton Abbot Museum's Season has begun!
Museum Friends and volunteers joined together yesterday with The Mayor of Newton Abbot Cllr Mike Hocking & Cllr Carol Bunday to view the new displays on offer in the museum for this season.
Last year's WWI travelling exhibition was on display and will tour the town again this year. A new addition to the exhibition tells the war story of four brothers from a well known Newton family-and the remarkable survival story of a favourite war horse horse who went through the war and returned to end his days in a Devon field!
The popular 20 stories in the WWI Micro-Histories pack 1, has been joined this year by Micro history pack 2 bringing the total of WWI stories of the town to 40!
Come along and see the other new additions to the galleries- free admission!
