Return to Lostwithiel - South Devon Railway

The next event in the popular series of Thursday evening meetings will be an illustrated talk by Bernard Mills. He will be continuing his photographic rambles around the railways of Cornwall, and this time aims to get back to Lostwithiel. The route will be circuitous and the photography superb, and we can guarantee that you will see photos of railways that you barely realised existed.

Bernard has been an accomplished and prolific recorder of the railways in the West Country for many years. His knowledge of West Country railways is immense, and his talk will span both steam and diesel eras, so that there is something for everyone. There will even be something for Southern enthusiasts! Bernard is hoping to have copies of his latest book available, which will be a treat for everyone.

The meeting takes place as usual in the Refreshment Rooms at Buckfastleigh station, and doors open at 7.00pm. The show itself starts at 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be available. Entry is free, so do come along for an entertaining and informative evening.
