The Learning Team at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery offers a comprehensive education service to support the schools curriculum through:
Museum and Art Gallery Visits for school groups - work with an Education or Outreach Officer on a theme linked to your curriculum studies or book galleries to work independently with your groups
Visits to other historic sites such as the Elizabethan House for school groups
Museum in Transit Schools Service - bringing the Museum experience to your school
Cottonian Collection Education Projects - images and project lesson plans to support curriculum objectives
Early Years Forum for early years teachers and teaching assistants

Museum in Transity Community - themed display units that can be set up in your venue and accompanied by tailored activity sessions appropriate for your venue

University of the Third Age research course (in partnership with the University of Plymouth)

The Imaginators
These are fun, free sessions for the under fives and their carers and include creative activities, games, songs and stories based on our collections and exhibitions.
Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 10-11am and 2-3pm.
