Museums are places that look after precious things.
This summer the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon is bringing together some of the most precious things from North Devon’s past for our visitors to see and enjoy.
Featuring objects from our own collections and local churches and buildings, where they are rarely seen, as well as objects from the collections of prestigious institutions including the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Treasures of North Devon includes precious things from prehistory, mediaeval times and later. This is your chance to see the best silver, ceramics and books made – and used – on home soil here in North Devon.
