What do you collect Handkerchiefs

When: 15 January 2019 to 07 April 2019
Where: Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Queen Street, Exeter, EX4 3RX
Time: 10:00 - 17:00

A selection of eye-catching handkerchiefs collected over many years by an artist and printmaker living in Devon. Handkerchiefs were used by everyone until throwaway paper tissues were invented, and were common as gifts, mementos and souvenirs. Expect the Collector's Case to be full of vibrant prints and strong graphics as well as delicately-woven and embroidered examples.
