This Year's Special Exhibition 

Did you go to Whimple School?
The Society, in association with Whimple School, is planning an exhibition at the Heritage Centre in 2010 to celebrate 100 years since the extension was built to the school. We already have a number of items of interest but we are interested in obtaining any other artefacts, photographs or written or spoken memories of your days at Whimple School. It may also be surprising to many people that there were once three private schools in Whimple. The Society's records on schooling will also be on view for your interest and most likely much nostalgia for some residents.
The exhibition can only be as good as its input so we are relying on you, the ex-pupils of Whimple or staff to ensure that the exhibition is a success. Information can be delivered to the Curator, David Smith at the Heritage Centre, or Jan Discombe, at The Jays. Any documents of interest can also be e-mailed in Word or PDF format to her at jaydiscombe@supanet.com.
All items will be returned once the exhibition is over.
