Time: 7.30pm - 9.15pm

The next event in the popular series of Thursday evening meetings will be an illustrated talk by Paul Burkhalter about the Devonport Dockyard Railway. This started life as part of Brunel’s broad gauge system, and remains relatively unknown.
Paul has made an extensive study of the railway, and will be bringing along some rare views of the system. This promises to be an interesting and informative session about a part of the system that many have been past, but rarely seen in action.
The meeting takes place as usual in the Refreshment Rooms at Buckfastleigh station, and doors open at 7.00pm. The show itself starts at 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be available. Entry is free, so do come along for an entertaining and informative evening.
