Dive down beneath the waves for an adventure at the bottom of the sea. Join PaddleBoat Theatre for a whole treasure trove of activities and workshops throughout the day. There will be drama, music, poetry and puppetry – so come and see where your imagination takes you.

For 4 to 12 year olds. One workshop £7.50 per child, additional workshops: £5. Accompanying adults, free. Includes free evening ticket for each child when accompanied by a paying adult (£6).

Puppetry, 10 to 11.30am

Meeting Room A

Transform everyday objects into creatures and characters. Explore the best ways to tell stories using different types of puppets; create your own and bring them to life.

Poetry, 11.30am to 1pm

Garden Meeting Room

Take an expedition into a world of watery words. Investigate what makes a great poem, and why so many poems and songs have been inspired by the sea.

Music, 1.30 to 3pm

Meeting Room A

A chance to play and create music in a whole new way. Help to make the sounds of the sea, from sea shanties to the crashing of the ocean waves.

Drama, 3 to 4.30pm

Meeting Room A

See how you can use your body, voice and imagination with mime, objects and storytelling.

Organised by PaddleBoat Theatre and RAMM in association with Exeter Northcott Theatre. One of a series of lively family activities linked to the RAMM’s summer exhibition, Sea Life: Glimpses of the Wonderful.
