February half term opening - South Devon Railway

When: 11 February 2012 to 19 February 2012
Where: South Devon Railway Museum, Buckfastleigh

The South Devon Railway will next be running public train services for February half term, starting on Saturday 11 and every day until Sunday 19 February. The museum will be open every day that trains are running. We’re doing a lot of work to improve our displays, so do come along and see us then. There is no need to book train tickets in advance – just turn up at one of our stations on the day. Buckfastleigh and Staverton will be open, but it is just possible that work on the track will mean that trains can’t get to Totnes. Please phone the railway before you set out.

New displays will include many photographs of Buckfastleigh station over the years, and later in the year we’ll be celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Don’t forget that we have lots for children or all ages, including colouring, our train table and visits to the footplate of Ashley, our small blue tank engine. Entry to the museum remains free – we look forward to seeing you in 2012.
