This e-ticket admits one person to the North Caponier Gun firing event on Thursday 14th September between 6pm and 8pm. Our terms of sale are below, please read before purchasing.

FORMAT OF THE EVENING
The event will start at 6pm with an introduction to Crownhill Fort and its role within the wider Plymouth Defences. This will be followed by a visit to a recreated barracks and a walking tour of the site. Once the group is underground we will fire an early 19th century Carronade and a reproduction 32 pounder breech-loading cannon.

SPECIAL NOTES
This event is very loud so we will provide ear plugs, you are welcome to bring your own hearing protection if you prefer.
Participants will spend time in enclosed spaces that will fill with smoke when the Guns have been fired.
The North Caponier is accessed via steep stairs without handrails. Speak to us in advance if you are unable to ascend or descend these so that we can try to accommodate you.

TICKETS
Once payment has been made you must complete the order process for electronic tickets to be generated. Please bring a copy of this email with you on the day; you can show this on a device when you arrive or you can print a copy if you prefer. Physical tickets will not be sent by post.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The event will proceed regardless of the weather conditions on the day. If we have to cancel the event due to extenuating circumstances or a change in Government guidelines you will receive a full refund. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred without notifying the Landmark Trust office at the Fort at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

CAR PARKING
If you wish to park a vehicle during this event you will require a car park ticket which is sold separately. The parking area is approximately 100 metres from the entrance and vehicles are parked at your own risk.
We are keen to encourage sustainable transport so bicycles can be parked for free and electric bicycles can be recharged at no cost. Crownhill Fort runs very close to several bus routes serving most areas of the city.

REFRESHMENTS AND CATERING
There are no refreshments on sale at this event.

PERSONAL DATA
Your contact details will be stored securely and deleted after the event when they are no longer required. We will only share your data with Government agencies (including HMRC and ‘Test and Trace’), devonmuseums.net (the site used to manage ticket sales) and Paypal (for processing payments).
