our_intentNestling in the peaceful West Devon countryside, Dingles Steam Village offers a unique opportunity to view our Industrial Heritage in a beautiful rural location. There are working and static exhibits of Steam Engines & Vintage Machinery and a collection of Road Signs of National Importance. Since 2003, Dingles has also been the home of the Fairground Heritage Trust, and many items from the National Fairground Collection can be seen on display. The cafeteria is open all day for coffee, lunches and cream teas, and is housed in a beautifully converted barn, full of character, along with a gift shop and award winning toilets. The attraction is less than a mile off the main A30 dual carriageway west of Okehampton, with excellent access for coaches. Click here for a map showing the location.
