The museum is open from 1st April 2006 until the end of October 2006, at the times stated above. During this period the museum closes for lunch between 12.30 and 2.00 pm.
From 1st April until the end of October, Guided Town Strolls will depart from the Museum at 10:15 am every Tuesday (Western Town) and Thursday (Eastern Town). Strolls take about 2 hours, and on most Wednesdays at 10:30 am, there is a World Heritage Coast introductory talk and walk along the Esplanade, lasting about 1 hour 30 minutes. There is no charge but donations are welcomed.
School visits and other special parties accommodated by arrangement.
A demonstration of Lace Making takes place at the museum on most Thursday afternoons.
The Museum Shop is open during the season. Local books, pictures, postcards and related gifts are available.

The Museum is located at the top of Church Street, next to the Parish Church, adjacent to the Triangle (the main bus stop in Sidmouth).
