Centenary Time Capsules
In July 2005 HRH The Duke of York placed a new time capsule in one of thHRH Duke of York places his letter in new time capsulee foundation stones of the College main building. This replaced the original capsule placed by HM King Edward VII in 1902. The original capsule was revealed by the Commodore of the College, Tim Harris, and is now on display, with its contents, in the Britannia Museum. The Duke of York's capsule contained a number of commemorative items produced specially for the centenary together with a personal letter, which is not to be opened for another 100 years. An unofficial capsule was also placed in the original space and contains a number of day to day items depicting College life at the turn of the 21st Century.  dsc_0066
