The Museum is open daily throughout the year but is closed on Sundays from October - Mid July. Easy access to the Museum and all the public galleries and facilities is provided via a ramp, lift and chair lift. We offer an enquiry and identification service and researchers are welcome by prior arrangement. Special guided tours for group visits are encouraged.

Located on the lower end of Babbacombe road, the Museum is a short walk from the harbour (400 m) and the Town centre shops. Situated on the 33, 33h and 38 bus routes, there is a bus stop outside the Museum. Limited street Parking. Nearest car park is The Terrace, exit from the far end of top platform and the Museum is 50 m downhill.
