 The school holidays are here!Â
There are great new fun things for children to do at the museum. There are outfits to dress up in, a black swan trail to follow, a children's quiz. (those who get the quiz and trail right get to choose a great unique badge) there are pictures to colour and take away, teaparties and a teddy bears' picnic to enjoy. You can test your typing skills and look at the rocks and fossils through a special magnifier.
Adults aren't forgotten either! There is an aclaimed exhibition of the Winter storms, an updated exhibition about Piper Bill and the D-Day landings, and a display linking Dawlish residents to WW1. There is also a brand new display dedicated to Dr Lovely who lived at the museum when it was known as The Knowle and was the doctor's residence and surgery.
There are 11 rooms spread over 3 floors so there is much to see of interest to all ages.
A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) is only £5 and can be used again during the following 7 days.
