I discovered my naive, playful, style of work only after retirement. Having made a patchwork quilt I wondered if I could make fabric pictures and experimented with some furnishing fabric samples and discarded clothes. I still use mostly recycled fabrics and have now made lots of pictures. 

I am inspired daily by coastal walks with my dog, Dylan, who can often be spotted in my pictures.

These colourful textile pieces are built up using scraps of fabric, then secured with detailed  machine and/or hand stitching. 

My work has been exhibited around the country and several pieces have won national awards. 

Cards and prints of my work are available at Pebble of Budleigh and the Seaglass Gallery in Lympstone.
