Crediton Area History And Museum Society
In April 2010 our museum was opened at The Old Town Hall in the centre of Crediton High Street. The museum is run by volunteers and each year plans a separate exhibition, open from April to October.
In addition, monthly lectures are held, usually at the Boniface Centre in Crediton, and visits to places of historic importance and occasional social events are organised. In 2013 a Research Corner was added to enable visitors to research their family or house history. This facility, a Service Point for Devon Heritage Centre, is open all year round on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 1000 and 1300, and at other times by appointment.
