Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends will be making another visit to the South Devon Railway over the May Day bank holiday weekend. The Fat Controller will be there to try to keep everything in order, and children of all ages will be very welcome. There will be lots of things to do, including face painting, story telling and games at the Imagination Station, and – of course – all the tricks that Thomas and his friends get up to.

Advance booking is strongly recommended for this event. For this weekend entrance to the railway is by ticket only, but it includes all train journeys – including rides behind Thomas – entrance to Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies, Totnes Rare Breeds Farm and the SDR Museum, plus all the activities. Passengers can join trains at any South Devon Railway station, although Thomas will spend most of his time at Buckfastleigh.
