Guided tour for Home Educators , ADMISSION

This e-ticket admits one adult or one child to a dedicated tour for Home Educators taking place from 10.30am on Wednesday 10th June 2026.
This event is not open to the general public.

This tour is intended for home educated children and accompanying adults who wish to further their knowledge of the Victorian era. Subjects covered will include Design and Technology, History, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering. Participants will receive an introduction to the site in the Guardroom before visiting museum displays, historic ramparts and atmospheric underground areas. The tour concludes with firing of a Georgian Field Gun.

Under 18s must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or over. Under 5s do not require a ticket. If you have any specific access requirements please contact us before booking tickets.

This is an electronic ticket and no paperwork will be sent. To redeem your ticket bring a copy of your order confirmation and/or payment confirmation with you on the day. This can be shown on a device or printed if you prefer.

Tickets purchased by adults include use of a parking space outside the Fort. Secure parking is available include the Fort for bicycles, motorcycles and mobility scooters. E-bike charging is available upon request.
