October’s meeting at the South Devon Railway Trust Museum at Buckfastleigh is a little different. Bernard Mills returns with one of his ever-popular shows of steam, but this time he tours North West England. This was the very last place that every day steam operated on the main line, and Bernard will show some of the better known locations, as well as others off the beaten track.

Bernard Mills is well known to local railway enthusiasts for the wide range and quality of his railway photographs. Expect to see steam and diesel in a wide variety of locations – an evening not to be missed.

The show takes place in the Refreshment Rooms at Buckfastleigh station on the South Devon Railway. Doors open at 7.00pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm; drinks and light refreshments are available. Admission is free.
