Some of the most beautiful Roman finds in Britain are mosaic floors. The mosaicists were true artists, producing intricate patterns and designs as well as wonderful pictorial images. These images often told mythical stories or show us what life was like during Roman times.
Join us to help create a Roman style mosaic over the two days, as well as making your own example to take home.
The museum has a number of Roman mosaic fragments including part of the floor from a property in the city's Catherine Street. You can see it in our Making History gallery.
