Join the team at the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office to find out about the personal stories behind the Blitz which are captured within our extensive World War II archive.
In particular, this 'Bite Size' will focus on the events of 1941 when the Westminster Hotel in The Crescent was destroyed by a German bomb.
The accounts paint a vivid picture of lives that were lived under the constant threat of attack from the air.
