When: 08 December 2018
Where: The Strand Gardens, Exmouth
Time: 9:00 - 15:30
Suitable for: Family friendly

A date has been set for the official start of the festive season in Exmouth, with an event featuring live music, food and an opportunity for plenty of Christmas shopping.  The Exmouth Christmas Fayre, on Saturday, December 8, takes place between 9am and 3.30pm on the Strand and will be filled with a ‘colourful and eclectic’ mix of stalls.

Musicians and performers will entertain fayre-goers throughout the day and children from local primary schools will be showing off Christmas trees they have ‘uniquely decorated’ in class.  Youngsters will have fun tracing Santa’s footprints back to his grotto in a winter wonderland themed indoor market.  Food and drink will be on offer all day, including mulled wine and mince pies.

Exmouth Museum will have their own stall with a Tombola and a Special Raffle.  All monies will go to our Building Fund. Donations gratefully accepted. Please come and support us on the day and learn what you can do to help.

We always need offers of help with fundraising, volunteering and supporting committee members especially at this difficult time in the life of the Museum.  Although closed for the Winter we need help with maintenance and cleaning the exhibitis and the building. In the Spring when we reopen we desperately need more volunteers to fill our Stewards Rota. Find us on Facebook @SheppardsRow or come and see us at the Christmas Fayre.
