Come and understand Fairground Art, it's purposes and its development.
Learn about some of the many fairground artists who have influenced the world we live in, with some even working with the Beatles.
This temporary exhibition aims to highlight the different styles of fairground art up to the 1980s from scenic landscapes, fantastical carved work, dancing teenagers, pop stars and racing cars. It explains how fairground art can not only tell us about the fairground but also about ourselves and the times we've lived in.
