Take a moment to breathe, relax and enjoy the art and culture around you at RAMM with guided mindfulness sessions.

RAMM is excited to offer six sessions during October and November that invite you to explore artefacts in the museum collection using mindfulness. You will learn to look at objects in a way we don’t often do in our everyday lives. You’ll also explore how to cultivate awareness of your other senses and breathing.

These sessions will be guided by experienced mindfulness teacher Jo Gosling and will focus on a different theme each week-

10th October: Down to Earth – focus on the Geology gallery

17th October: Sea & Sky – focus on the ‘In Fine Feather’ and ‘Sladen’s Study’ galleries

7th November: Roman Exeter – focus on Roman artefacts in the Making History Gallery

14th November: World Cultures – focus on the World Cultures gallery

21st November: Echoes of Exeter – focus on the Making History

28th November: Wildlife Photography – focus on Wildlife Photographer of the Year temporary exhibition.

You can either book a one-off session, or a number of them. Sessions are free, but limited to 12 spaces so early booking is essential.

Each live session will be followed by a short 5 – 10 minute guided meditation film on one of the objects covered on the day, available for free on the RAMM website.
