Come along to a special discussion about the ‘Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters’ exhibition between Adj Professor Margo Neale, Dr Béatrice Bijon, Senior Lecturer and Co-Director of the Menzies Australia Institute and Martin Thomas, Professor of History and Co-Director of the Menzies Australia Institute.
This will be a unique opportunity to learn about the highly collaborative curation of the exhibition, its relevance today, and the indigenous culture of Australia with behind-the-scenes insights. This event promises to be an enlightening and entertaining journey into the world’s oldest continuing culture.
'Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters' is a groundbreaking internationally touring exhibition, was entirely conceived and curated by a team of First Australians and led by Margo Neale. After its premiere here in Plymouth it will travel to Europe, North America and Asia.
It can be seen on display at The Box and The Levinsky Gallery at the University of Plymouth until 27 February 2022.
Event organised by The Box and The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth partnership, in collaboration with the Menzies Australia Institute at King’s College London.
