Magical miniature dens - Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery

Come and create your own special miniature ‘den’ inspired by nature in this wonderful artist-led workshop. Using an incredible array of natural, foraged materials you will be the dreamer, the designer and the maker.

Imagine yourself in a wild landscape (it could be a meadow, a woodland, a forest or a river island – wherever you like) and imagine you are tiny, about the size of your thumb! You need a shelter; your very own little den. Somewhere you feel safe and content, connected to the natural world around you.

This workshop is designed to inspire, to delight and to encourage the participants to engage thoughtfully with nature.
