Ocarina is Italian for ‘little goose’ and is a small wind instrument thought to date back 1,200 years. Over the years, they became popular throughout the world in different forms. In more modern times, the instrument features prominently in the Legend of Zelda and Earthbound Beginnings video games.
Come and make your own ocarina from clay. You will need to mould the shape, make the holes and voicing window by carefully using the tools and you will then have a musical instrument you can enjoy playing for years to come.
