Samurai: Warriors of Japan
Discover the origins of the samurai and their extrordinary warrior code and learn how life was organised in feudal Japan. Vistors can find out about samurai weapons, heraldry and the untold histroy of samurai women. Discover the truth about the mysterious Ninja, the deadly samurai assassins and the influence samurai films had on Star Wars. The exhibition contains a range of original samurai artefacts, including weapons, armour and costume, it also contains a range of costumes, armour and props from the epic Hollywood movie The Last Samurai many produced by the world famours Weta Workshop. There are also a range of interactive elements try on including armour, helmets and costume. For younger children there is a Secret Ninja Trail!
