The Taunton to Barnstaple line Volume 1, by Freddie Huxtable
Price: £25.00
Stock: 1 available
The Devon and Somerset Railway was born out of an 1845 plan to build a North Devon Railway from Taunton to Launceston via Barnstaple. Even thought the project had Brunel as its engineer, it failed to get off the ground. Almost twenty then lapsed until a proposal was mooted to build a railway from Taunton to Ilfracombe via Barnstaple
