Unveiling of the Piper Bill Millin Memorial Statue

The memorial statue of Piper Bill Millin was unveiled today at  Colleville-Montgomery, Normandy, France. The event was attended by many in recognition of his heroism when he played the pipes whilst walking up and down Sword Beach during the D Day landings.
