I found this photo particularly interesting because they went to the school which I now attend, Newton Abbot College. It is strange to think how much the school must have changed since they went there, from the lessons, to the uniform and how they were expected to behave when in the school grounds.
This is a photo of a group of boys who were evacuated from their school in London to attend a Grammer school in Newton Abbot during WWII.
