The Museum was delighted to welcome the children from Trinity School Teignmouth today for their evacuee visit tour of Dawlish. They were welcomed at the station by Dawlish Mayor,Angela Fenne and consort before enjoying an interesting tour of the museum and chatting to genuine evacuee Mavis Stuckey. The highlight after a fascinating talk about the waterfowl by warden ,David, was probably the sweet ration they collected from Jens Sweets before heading for the train home.
