Staff at The Box are celebrating after the venue was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Arts, Culture and Theatre’ category in the 2025 Devon Muddy Stilettos Awards.
Nominations and voting by members of the public took place in early April. This is the second year in a row The Box has won a Muddy Award: in 2024 it triumphed in the ‘Best Family Attraction’ category.
The Muddy Stilettos platform celebrates local businesses across the UK. This year’s awards reached over 11 million people nationally, with half a million nominations and votes cast across 21 categories in 35 different counties. Plymouth Arts Cinema and the Devonport Market Hall were also shortlisted.
“Everyone at The Box is delighted to have been successful in the Muddy Awards for a second time,” said Jo Clarke, Marketing and Communications Officer. “Knowing that the votes have come directly from the people who visit us really means a lot and always gives the team a real boost. We are really grateful for everyone’s support as we head into a busy summer.”
You can visit The Box from 10am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday as well as on selected bank holidays throughout the year. Entry is free and there’s no need to book.
