Amazing display – so many ways to recycle and reuse
Refashion, the summer 2013 exhibition from Totnes Fashion & Textiles Museum is now closed after a very successful season.
Visitor numbers were up and the visitor’s book has many pleasing comments including
· Inspirational
· Amazing display – so many ways to recycle and reuse
· Brilliant
· Recycling is not a new as I thought.
· I have visited many textiles museums. This exhibition stands out for its innovative concept. Thank you.
· Super exhibition. Well put together and documented.
· I could spend a very long time here.
· Excellent. Shows real passion.
· Excellent, it’s great to see such a varied collection well curated and displayed.
· These exhibits are marvellous. They helped me come to another time and felt myself magnificent.
· Intriguing – now I want to go and make things.
· This should go to the V and A next.
What is particularly pleasing is that our visitors appreciate the thought and passion that goes into mounting each exhibitio0n. We have a small but dedicated team who does this year after year.
Next year’s exhibition will be open for viewing from May 2014 to September 2014.
“Let’s Party. Gorgeous garments from the Assembly rooms to the Disco”
A chance to glory in style, elegance, bling and glitz.
See you all there.
