How did a relatively small Devon seaside town become home to the LARGEST SCHOOL in the COUNTRY?

We have been working with the College to put on a small exhibition.

That work is not yet complete - we would love to have the reminiscences of the pupils involved at the formation.  If you were an early pupil and can help, particularly with photographs and other artefacts, please let us know.
