Family Find Painting - Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre registered charity 1216717

The Museum’s collection of paintings is online at the Your Paintings website at www.bbc.co.uk/yourpaintings.
It includes a painting by Harold Frank Morley of Exmouth Docks from the Dock Entrance and his grandson has just contacted us having seen the painting on the website.
Mr Morley was a prolific artist based in the Birmingham area but his family had no idea that we had the painting. We think that it was painted in about 1955 and sold to a local lady. It eventually passed to the Museum in 2002.
The family hope to visit in the Summer to see the painting in situ.
