Family History Research - Holsworthy Museum
Added: 06 February 2013
Since our Family history day we have had lots of enquiries. Volunteers at the Museum, and staff at the Library are working hard to help with them all.
The Museum acts as a Service Point for Devon Record Office and manages the Local History Unit on behalf of Holsworthy Town Council so, if you have a question to ask about one of your ancestors, please get in touch and we will try to help.
Who knows they might be as famous as Sir Richard Todd the actor, well known for his role in the Dambusters, who lived with his father Dr Todd at the Elms, and attended the local church school at North road, or Dr Stuart Craddock who worked with Fleming during the discovery of penicillin.
