For all you budding archaeologists, have you ever wondered what happens when an object, it could be 'treasure', is found and taken to a museum or to the county's Finds Liaison Officer? Here is your chance to find out by working with Dr. Lucy Shipley, FLO for Devon.

You will have the chance to work out how to identify the object, to research and find similar objects, to weigh, measure and then record all your findings in various ways including the use of tablets. You will also have the chance to learn how to photograph the object in a way that is useful for research and identification.

We will have plenty of objects available but do bring your own 'finds'

This is an unaccompanied session for ages 8 to 14. Limited spaces available. Parents/carers will be sent a permission form to complete.

Tickets are available online or from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum reception in person or by phone using a credit or debit card on 01392 265858 during opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
