We are delighted to be able to welcome Derek Gore to give this fascinating talk on Tuesday June 28th. Derek will cover the impact of the Vikings on what we now know as the West Country.
Venue: Matthews Hall, Topsham.
The talk starts at 12 noon.
Doors Open at 11.30 a.m.
Entrance £3 payable at the door
Derek Gore is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Exeter, having retired from the Department of Archaeology, where he taught courses on the Viking Age in the British Isles and Europe. He has written articles and books on different aspects of the Viking Age. Derek continues to lecture for the Devon Archaeological Society. We are very pleased we have been able to re-schedule this lecture, which was originally planned for 2021.
