North Devon Heritage Photographic Competition 2012: Call for Entries - The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon

OK it\\\'s time to get out and get snapping!    We are inviting entries to our annual North Devon Heritage Photographic Competition.

This popular competition is open to anyone of any age who likes taking photographs.  With classes and awards for both adults and children under the age of 16.  The idea is to encourage photography of northern Devon life and scenery, including Lundy Island and Exmoor.

The six main categorys are:

  •  Towns & Villages
  • The Coast & The Sea
  • Landscape
  • Characters
  • Wildlife
  • Anything Goes!

The judge for our 2012 Competition is Denzil Bath, ARPS, QTLS

The Exmoor Moorland Landscape Partnership is involved for the second year running. Judges for their special category \\\' Life on the Moors - Past and Present\\\' are Faye Balmond and Jason Ball.

The awards presentation and critique will take place on Saturday 24th November 2012 from 2pm.
