Objects of Beauty -

New in our window, which spotlights local textile artists, is the work of Ruscha Schorr Kon.
Ruscha is a multi-skilled artist/craftswoman who enjoys making for the sheer pleasure of it. She creates with whatever is to hand, turning the unexpected into objects of beauty, letting the materials dictate the design. Her work ranges from "petites etoiles", worn as stylish accessories to warm the shoulders and delight the eye to elegant jackets, an upcycled Lacsmi jersey top using vintage fancy socks and neckpieces featuring orange flotsam and jetsam with antique buttons.
Come and see for yourself or contact Ruscha on 01363 644168
