Poet in Residence - Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre registered charity 291311

We have been hosting a Poet in Residence at the Museum over the Summer. This is part of her contribution: -
Over and again like a cat’s cradle
weaving banks of sighs, plotting days in its wake,
Starcross ferry draws figures of eights between quays -
as for ebb and flow, it out-gears their magnet pull.
carrying land-legs exhaled to each side, this ferry glides
through generations down tides, and hands throw
slipknots over a thousand years' passage.
