Six Cousins Heard Family - Topsham Museum
Added: 13 October 2016
We've discovered that six cousins from the Heard family of Topsham served in WW1 and returned home safely. We've done a lot of research on the family. They were:
Albert Charles - Royal Field Artillery - born 1892 son of John Frederick and Harriet and his brothers John Frederick, Royal Navy, born 1888 and Joseph Allen, Devon Regiment, born 1885
Bertie - Royal Navy, born 1891 and William Henry Worcestershire Regiment born 1896, sons of Frederick and Annie
James Charles - Royal Engineers, born 1893 son of James & Louisa
We don't have a photograph of any of them at the Museum so we wondered if any relatives have any hidden away somewhere?
