Spooky, night time, Halloween happenings
in Newton Abbot on the 31st October!
As the light faded in the centre of Newton Abbot, Spirits of the Past emerged from the dark corners of the town. The spooky tours arranged by the museum had begun!
Over 80 people, some spookily dressed to join in the fun, followed the Narrator around the centre of the town. They saw a Victorian performing bear,13th century knights, felons,a famous Victorian architect who ended his life in a train, a small ghostly girl, monks, Nelson wandering the streets, a riot near Union St and spooks that surprised and wailed!
After the tours they were revived with refreshments in the Clock Tower....and a good time was had by all!
